was our commitment to Essex County Explorer Post 183 to provide them with winter jackets as a reward for their endless hours of service to the community

EXPLORER BASKETBALL TEAM

The track team was initially started in memory of the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks on our country. The children now run in many 5K runs dedicated to Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, & members of the Military who have lost their lives.  

The basketball team was formed to offer another avenue for teenagers to interact with law enforcement officers. Not only do the officers serve as coaches, they occasionally have a friendly rivalry game between them

The Honor Guard offers an opportunity to teach teenagers responsibility, coordination, discipline, dignity, respect, and pride.

During the Hurricanes of 2017, Officers worked side by side with youth from all over Essex County collecting supplies  for hurricane relief as well as unloading trucks  and loading containers that were bound for Houston, Puerto Rico , and the Dominican Republic.

HURRICANE RELIEF

Cops 4 Kids will be partnering with several community based organizations to collect, ship, and provide toys and holiday cheer to the children of Utuado Puerto Rico, which was one of the towns most devastated by Hurricane Maria in 2017.
